Brush Mountain Road is accessible from PA Route 45  or PA Route 192

From State College Airport

• Turn left onto Hill Road when exiting airport (road will turn into Fox Hollow Rd. in about a mile)
• at stop sign, go straight/ in a few miles you will reach a stop light with the stadium in front of you.
• turn left at this light/ about a mile ahead, merge onto 322 E
• from 322 E, take exit 45 E (Old Fort) / turn left (east) at bottom of ramp
• at the intersection of 45 and 144, you will come to a stop light/ a Snappy’s gas station will be on your right
• continue along RT.45 about 7 mi
• You will pass through a small rock cut and over a metal bridge (town of Spring Mills). About 1/2 mile past the rock cut you will see a small red barn with a silver silo sitting right next to the road on your right. Take the next left onto "Brush Mountain Rd."
• you will also see a small rectangular white sign with a blue circular emblem  for "Green Grove Bretheren Church" ]  /proceed about 2 mi up Brush Mountain (careful- a few sharp turns and, when rounding the corner near a blue and yellow shack, possibly loose chickens on this road)
• turn right into driveway directly BEFORE "Standing Bear Lane"
• House is hidden up the drive) look for small painted mailbox on your right #538, cream-colored with green ferns and red script "Inn On The Sky"
• if you see "Grenoebel’s" (street on left)– you have gone too far

From State College / 322 E

From Philadelphia

• Turnpike to Harrisburg
• follow signs for 322W State College
• after you pass Lewistown (about 20 min.), 322 climbs into the mountains and then necks down to 2 lanes. Keep an eye out for Rt. 144.
• bear right onto Rt.144 (there is a restaurant here called "the Eutaw House")
• proceed about 3 miles to Rt. 45 (Snappy's gas station on the left). Turn right onto Rt. 45
• proceed about 7 miles and keep a sharp eye out for "Brush Mountain Rd." on your left (you will see a red barn with a silver silo right next to the road on your right about a 1/4-1/2 mile before the turn)
• continue on "Brush Mountain Rd." for about 2 miles, look for a small white painted mailbox with red script lettering "Inn On The Sky". Turn up the driveway directly before the mailbox. You will not see the Inn until you are about 1/2way up the drive.

From Potter's Mills (PA-144/322 split - traveling north)

follow PA-144 [until you come to the light at Snappy’s gas station]

right (east) onto RT.45 /about 7 mi * * *

From I-80 traveling East

Merge onto US-220 S/PA-26 S via EXIT 161 toward US-322/BELLEFONTE. /3.8 miles

Merge onto PA-26 S toward PLEASANT GAP/PA-64. / 2.1 miles

LEFT onto S HARRISON RD. /0.5 miles

LEFT onto S MAIN ST/PA-144. follow PA-144 South [until you come to Snappy’s gas station on left]

Left onto RT.45 /about 7 mi * * *

FROM I-80 TRAVELING WEST

a) over a mountain
-Take the Lamar exit off of I-80, go south on 64 for about 1.8 mi.
-make a left onto 445/Pike Rd.
-proceed carefully over mountain(very steep, sharp turns)about 7 mi.
-you will end facing an old post office, turn right here onto 192/Brush Valley Rd.
-you will see a small, low-lying green sign for "Penn Hall". Make the next left onto Brush Mountain Rd. (also a sign here for "Green Grove Church")
-continue 1.2 mi. up Brush Mountain Rd., drive is on the left (mailbox painted white w/ burgundy lettering "Inn On The Sky")

b) 20 min. longer, but safer roads/ more scenic
-From I-80 take 15 South towards Lewisburg
-make a right onto 45 West, continue about 35.8 mi.
-make a right onto Green Grove Rd., directly after Penn's Valley High School
-make the first right onto Brush Mountain Rd., proceed up about 1.1mi., driveway is on the right (mailbox painted white & burgundy "Inn On The Sky")
